Privacy
What this shop collects, why, and who else sees it. Short, because it does not collect much.
What is collected
- Your email and shipping address, when you buy something. They come from Stripe's checkout, not from a form on this site.
- Your email, if you sign in with Google to look at your orders. Only the address, and only if Google says it is verified.
What is never collected
Card numbers never touch this site. Stripe's checkout is hosted by Stripe; payment details go to them directly and this shop is never shown them. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker on any page.
Who else sees it
- Stripe — takes the payment and holds the card details.
- Shippo and USPS — get the shipping address, because a parcel cannot be addressed without one.
- Cloudflare — serves the site and stores the order.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in, and only to confirm your email address.
- Amazon — if you bought there rather than here, in which case they gave us the order rather than the other way round.
Nothing is sold, rented, or handed to anyone not on that list.
Signing in
Signing in with Google sets one cookie. It holds your email address and an expiry, signed so it cannot be altered, and it is used for one thing: showing the orders placed with that address. Sign out and it is deleted. No password is created, and none is stored.
Keeping and deleting
Orders are kept as business records — they are what a refund, a warranty claim or a tax return is argued from. Ask and the personal parts of an order will be removed as far as that record allows.
